I'm Steve Ward, and this is my web page. I've
been a member of the TDSA or some variation thereof since 1985, when I
met Rick Neil in March, just before the 1985 World Disc Golf Championships
here in Tulsa. But my Frisbee roots go back much farther than that.
My Dad bought my first Frisbee (a red Wham-O Regular)
in 1970, and I loved throwing that disc during recess in grade school.
Basic throws and catches came easy for me and I wanted to learn more.
In a packaged Wham-O Pro I got for my birthday a few years later there
was a membership form to the International Frisbee Association, so I filled
it out and sent it in with my fee. I received more information about
advanced throws and catches, along with exposure to the different disc
sports. My favorite is Freestyle, the showboating aspect of disc
sports, and has been my passion for many years.
Also, I'm the webmaster of the TDSA Club web site,
so if you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to e-mail them to me.
